In a randomized controlled trial involving 537 patients, the adenoma detection rate (ADR) was higher with WingCap than in a control group (37.2% vs 26.6%), as was the adenoma per colonoscopy rate (0.72 vs 0.45). The ADR gain in 297 randomized screening patients was 16.3%. Cecal intubation was successful in 99.3% of the WingCap group.
