Computerized assessments of polyp size are promising for more accurate measurement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an evaluation of endoscopist classification of phantom polyps of known size in a pig model, endoscopists and a computer model categorized polyps as \u22645 mm or &gt;5 mm. The computer-based sizing system had an average diagnostic accuracy of 85.2%, compared with 59.5% by the endoscopists.
