However, the devices have not been compared head-to-head, and currently, only the EV is available. In a randomized controlled trial (RCT) from Italy involving 1813 patients randomized 1:1 to colonoscopy with EV versus standard colonoscopy as the control, the ADR was higher with EV (47.8% vs 40.8%), including a 15% gain among physicians with ADR &lt;33.3%.
